Description:
The main concept of this course is to extensively
prepare an individual to work as a DBA in any local or international organization.Besides
extensive OCP Track DBA course work, participants are also given solid foundation &
allied tools required by a DBA including Operating System Concepts, Windows NT & Unix
operating System (on which most Oracle Installation exist today), and Networking
Essentials (as 99% Oracle installation exist in Network Environments).
In DBA,
Participant will be introduced to the Oracle 8 Server architecture and mechanism
underlying key administration tasks. How to manage logical and physical storage
structures, manage access to data by granting privileges to individuals users, and manage
national language support when implementing Oracle8 in an international environment. After
completing this course you'll be able to appear in OCP (Oracle Certified Professional) DBA
track.
